Article

Ok, so i read the article, didn't turn in my notes cause i underlined anything of importance, and if i had handed in the article i wouldn't be able to write this blog. Ok so my thoughts on the article and about limited rights is pretty simple and plain so as filler i'll throw down some historical facts. So, they wanted to tap phones and emails in order to find out who is a terrorist and who is not. People complain, not anything knew, our country was founded on people who agreed with the revolution and people who disagreed. Our who government is founded on being able to have ones opinion and to express it freely, also known as the first Amendment.
Many times throughout history peoples freedoms have been limited in order for the government and the military to act freely. In world war 2 they made the alien and sedition acts, that takes away peoples freedoms to say what they wanted to about the war. George Bush's cabinet doing what the article says, is nothing surprising if one knows about history, they would know history repeats itself many times, and can basically know what will happen after a historical event.
9/11 was a terrible attack on the United States, that sent it into an unofficial war. Whenever there is a war freedoms are limited, it is for the good of the people. As long it is for the betterment of the people, i am fine with the cell phone and email readings. Privacy has no right to be in a war.
